lab and shitsu puppies

Question
I have a shitsu who is 20 months old and we are thinking about getting a labrador retriever puppy.  Do these two dogs get along and is there a problem with the ages?

Most young dogs enjoy playing with other young dogs.  It gets rough at times, but even different sizes seem to do OK.  At 20 months the Shih Tsu should still be young enough to enjoy puppy play.  Early socialization is more important than specific breeds.  Get the opposite sex of what you have.  As long as both are fixed, you usually have fewer problems that way.
