My dogs stomach

Question
I own a puggle he will be two tomorrow.  Last weight was 26lbs. His highest weight was 28lbs last year and my vet put him on a diet he was eating 1/2 cup dry food (lamb and rice science diet) twice a day with a 1/2 of frozen green beans and carrots.  He loved his food, then in May he started vomitting at 4 am bile and sometimes green beans.  I took him to the vets they gave him different meds tried different things and out of 30 days he vomited 24.  Finally I decided maybe he had an allergy to green beans so I stopped giving them to him and he stopped vomitting.  So now he eats 1/2 cup dry food and 1/2 cup carrots twice a day.  Three days ago he vomitted at 4am carrots and bile (he last ate the carrots at 5:30pm) and this am threw up again carrots and bile.  I don't know what to do? He loves the carrots do you think it is that or something else.

Answer
Your pup could have a sensitive stomach, it could also be the frozen veggies. Maybe there is a preservative or chemical in the frozen veggies that he doesn't like- have you tried fresh raw veggies like carrot sticks?

In all honesty, I would get him off of the science diet. Its not a healthy food, and could be the problem. Science diet is loaded with unhealthy inferior grains, like corn, wheat and gluten. If you are looking to loose weight, try a healthy richer food with high protein and low fat- like Wellness CORE low fat. Feed 1/4 a cup, half what you are feeding now, with half a can of organic green beans, or a handful of raw greenbeans. Or, raw carrot sticks. You can also give him ice to chew on to help his hunger.

Visit www.dogfoodanalysis.com to learn why I don't like science diet! Take a look at the 6 star foods, and you'll see a real difference between them and the sawdust and cardboard brands like Purina, science diet, and IAMS.

Good luck!
