My vet extracted 4 teeth from my Cavalier

Question
I took my Cavalier to the vet due to her smelly mouth. He showed me a  double rooted tooth that was infected and the root was exposed.
He put her under and cleaned her teeth today and I just got a call that 3 other one rooted teeth were needing extracting due to they were loose. They were in different areas of the mouth. I paid full price for Lucy and the breeder did tell me that she was being considered for show but she had a cross bite. I asked the Vet is the cross bite could be related to the loose teeth. He answered that with the cross bite some of the roots were rotated so they could not set tight in the bone/gum.  What do you think?

Thank you
Donna

Answer
Hi Donna,

Yes, I agree with your vet.

The breeder should have seen the bite problem and not told you that the dog would be show worthy.

You will have to consider the way your dog will eat now.  Check into a canned food if molars have been pulled.
