QuestionQUESTION: 8 yr old boston terrier / pug mix. gets severe red rashes on belly to private area..vet changes food but no success.
Im loosing faith!
ANSWER: Hi Jackie,
Well hold on, I do see a lot of these situations professionally and there is almost always something we can do to help. To start with, I need a bit more information; how long has this been happening, what food are you using and which have you tried, is the dog on any medication and/or supplements, and are you willing to consider a home made diet?
Fill me in some more and I'll be able to help you better. Often with these conditions a home made diet with some anti inflammatory supplements (such as a fish oil) can help a great deal.
hang in there!
All the best, Catherine
