urinary crystals in bichon friese; dog food recipes;

my 9 y/o 12.8 pound bichon friese was just diagnosed with urinary crystals.  the vet changed her diet to science diet for kidney function....no uti but blood in urine...we have a radiography scheduled...other tests revealed no stones, no tumors, etc.  What are your recommendations for diet, supplements, and treats?  thanks for your help

Hi Debbie,  What food ( brand and flavor) was your Bichon being fed before she was diagnosed with urinary crystals?  Did they determine what kind of crystals they are?  ( struvites or oxolates?)
