QuestionWe have a gorgeous Lakeland terrier who generally is good as gold , apart from recently he has had a few dominance issues with other male dogs , he is now ten and a half months old and three days ago we had him castrated , I know it is now too late to worry , but I am , Mainly about growth issues , will he continue to grow properly , as unfortunately since he has been done I have read that it can stunt muscle and bone growth , presently he has a wonderful shape as he is exercised well , is this the case , if it is , is there anything I can do to sustain normal growth , maybe to do with his diet , I would appreciate any constructive help , he is a loved family pet. Thanks

At that age, he will be perfectly fine. He will finish developing the bone and muscle that he normally would. There is also evidence that neutering extends the life expectency.
I think you are destined to a long happy life with your boy.
If you remain concerned, I would just make sure to feed the highest quality kibble you can. I personally do not feed anything that contains corn, wheat, soy or by products.
I think your challenge may be the dominance thing. I have a jack russell that will have that issue to his dying day... but otherwise is a wonderful fellow.
Best wishes
