dog pacing

Hello,
The problem I've been having is the dog pacing all night long, she goes from one side of the bed to the other, shuts our door then scratches on it til I get up and open it, then she starts the pacing again, and it goes on all night. She paces some during the day to, but the nights are much worse. Also she scratches on the door to go outside and then she pushes the gate til she gets out and runs off. I hope you can help.

I'm missing quite a bit of information.  How old is she?  Is she fixed?  

I do not mean to sacare you, but there are mental issues for dogs just like for humans.  Does she recognize her name?  Does she know you?  Does she ever seem confused during the day?  When did she start acting differently? Please take your pup to a vet with the answers to these questions and have this checked out.
