Sheltie Stopped Eating and Drinking

Our sheltie is an 8-year old farm dog but a nice pet - very friendly and has always been of good health.  My husband is at home most of the time and he noticed about a month ago a gradualloss of weight (it may have started before that).  Last week he brought the dog inside and it is just skin and bones and will not eat or drink much.  We had her to the veterinarian who did all the tests and x-rays and every test is negative for an illness or broken bones.  We have bought various types of dog food and she still doesn't want to eat.  She has vomited a couple of times within the past week. We are out of ideas.  Any suggestions?  Thank you.

Hello Hazel,

Take your Sheltie to another vet.  Take the records with you.  This is something that someone needs to diagnose and the first one seems to have failed to find anything.
