Help! My lab wont stop humping.

My 3 year old female lab has a humping problem.  Sometimes if I'm standing in the room she will randomly start humping me.  Or, if someone starts running she will run after them and hump them.  I can't figure out what triggers it or how to stop it.  Any ideas?

Humping, especially with girls, is a dominance thing, very often triggered by excitement.  You may want to consider going back to obedience class so the dog learns to respect you, and then you can use what you learn to curb her behavior when she tries it on someone that runs.  

You'll have to calm her excited mind when she begins this behavior.
