Eating very fast

Question
How do I stop my 11 week old lab puppy from eating her food so quickly?  She devours it and then sometimes in an hour or two will throw it all up and none of it is even digested.  Is this because she eats so fast?  She came from a litter of 10 puppies and I am sure she had to eat fast there.  I usually give her a cup at a time, 2 times a day.

Answer
There are a few ways to slow them down.  You can spread the cup out on a baking sheet so that they have to work at picking up each individual piece.  Or you can stand a can in their bowl, making it harder to eat the kibble quickly.

Yes, the regurgitation is from having too much air in the tummy.

You may also want to consider breaking her 2 cups per day into 3 meals instead of 2, if you have the ability to be home at lunchtime.  They have tiny tummies so less food more frequently, is always a good idea.
