My 7 1/2 month old Jack Russell is vomitting Yellow bile. :(

Hello, My Jack Russell Grizzly just vomitted yellow bile and he seems weak and is sleeping alot. The last time he ate was last night.  He is 7 and 1/2 months old and he is up to date with his shots. He is feed a special diet, all natural food with no grains or byproducts. He eats when we eat.  He generally eats good and never gets sick like this. Im very concerned, should I take him to a vet ASAP or is this something that happens to this breed?  Please advise.  Thanks soo much for your time in advance for your time. Hi Sabrina,

Just like us, dogs get upset stomachs sometimes...
When they vomit that yellow bile it means their stomach is empty.
Try feeding him some saltine crackers to help his belly feel better
and make sure he is drinking water.  Dehydration is dangerous so
water is essential.  If he's not drinking at all and still won't eat
you should definitely take him to the vet to be checked out tomorrow morning.  
They will check his temp and check for infection -  they will take blood
and test for lyme (which makes dog feel lousy and no energy and lame).

He probably just ate something that didn't sit very well and needs a day
to recuperate. Try the crackers and see how he does.  Good luck!!!
