feeding

hi...i just bought a 8 week old puppy jrt,the person i bought it from gave me some of the food that my jrt has been eating.it wasn't to i got home i forgot how much at a single meal does she eat ?? i weighed her and she is 4 pounds in weight so my question is how much per meal as i don't want to over feed her......she is on pedigree chum complete puppy THANKS MARK

1/4 cup in the morning and 1/4 cup in the afternoon and
increase it as the pup gets bigger.
Water should be available all day long.
You'll know when to increase her food because she will gobble up her morning food, maybe lick the bowl and look at you for more.
It's sort of trial and error - don't worry you'll learn her eating pattern and do just fine. Good luck.
