heat after puppies

I would like to know when our mamma dog will go into heat after her litter of puppies. I need to know, so, we can get her spayed.

Hi Cindy,  Dogs come into heat approx. every 6 months, so count 6 months from when she was bred.  That is probably when she will come in heat again.  Basically once she gets done nursing the pups, go ahead and get her spayed.  Hope this helps,
