German Shepherd vs Pitbull

Hi I have three beautiful American line and German line crossed dogs. My female is American line and my male is german line and then I have their baby. My alpha male is very aggressive towards Pitbulls and dogs that look like pitbulls such as Boxers, Rotts, and Bulldogs. I think it might have something to do with the similar breathing noise that they make. I was just curious though if a German Shepard were to fight a Pitbull and they were equally aggressive who would have a better chance? How can I stop this aggression that my dog has towards pitbulls.

I would try introducing him to one in a controlled situation in a neutral place.  You will need to be giving him strong leadership and showing your acceptance of the Pit Bull or other dog.  You might want to attend an obedience class where you have an instructor to help.

I question if you should continue to breed him if you can't correct the behavior problem.  We already have an abundance of aggressive dogs.
