Question
I have a male German Shepherd named Rex he just turned two April 10, 07. I have read on many sites that it is normal for them to be skinny around this age. I feed him everyday there is extra left in the bowl and he is wormed properly as needed. I weighed him and he is around 60lbs what should I do for him. I feed him Purina puppy with a can of wet food. Is that not good enough for him.

Answer
You might try moving up to a more concentrated chow such a Pro Plan.  The regular Purina has a lot of corn in it.  I think it does have some meat in it.  Look for a chow that has that same meat or meal as the first ingredient.  I really thing the Purina is fine for dogs that are ready eaters such as Labs.  (Gluttons?)  Most dogs will thrive on most chows.  Most of the advantages to the more expensive chows are to the owner, not the dog. Yours is a special case where the dog may be better off eating a more concentrated chow.
