Question
can you breed a German Shepard father with his daughter?

Answer
Yes you can but the bigger question is why would you want to?  Unless you know the bloodlines very well you could end up with a disaster litter.   Inbreeding concentrates the bad genes and the good genes so is usually only used by very experienced breeders who know exactly what is in the genetic pool of their animals.  They are prepared to keep pups until maturity and cull any progeny after testing to make sure the offspring are healthy.  If you don't have the room or the time or the money to do this, it is not worth the risk.  Some diseases or problems do not show up until the animal is older so selling progeny from an inbred litter can have disastrous results for the puppy buyer.  Reputable breeders do not sell pups in this situation.   They keep them, grow them out, and if no problems arise, use them in their own breeding program, usually as an outcross.  I hope this helps, please follow up with any other questions if you have any.  I suggest you read and research about genetics so you know more, this answer only covers the bare minimum of information.
