Dog is running sideways

I notice last night that for a moment our puppy of three months was walking without using her left hind leg - Then she started using it.  This morning I noticed that she walks fine until you call for her - she gets excited and then starts running sideways.  I though maybe it's a cocker thing but I don't think that this is normal.  What should I do?

No, it's not a cocker thing and no, it's not normal.  But..excited puppies can do weird things.

By any chance has she been recently vaccinated?

I'd watch her carefully for a day or two - avoid calling her and creating excitement - see how she does on her walks and try to keep things calm for her.

If this continues then I'd give your vet a call.
