4 and a half month old cocker spaniel

I have a 4 and a half month old cocker he is very friendly and affectionate but some times at night he races around the house running in2 walls and doors and we can't stop him or settle him he just barks at us he aventually then calms and usually falls asleep he gets walked mourning and night has a healthy diet and lots of toys so why is has he started 2 do this and also why has he started 2 bark at us?

I'd like to know how long these two walks are?

Also how many times a day is he fed?  What are you feeding him?

And does this behavior usually happen at night?  When does he bark at you?

How much training has he had?

Usually puppies of this age do this type of thing due to pent up energy, boredom and lack of stimulation.  

It all can be handled but I need the whole picture.
