What can I do to stop my 9 year old spaniel digging up my garden, she only started it a year ago when we moved to a new property and seems to be in a frenzy of digging. Please help, I'm desperate!

I have never seen any digging cures that sounded workable. I have spent years on sites where you see the other experts answers, and nobody ever posted back that anything worked. Some of the ideas include burying feces or balloons. Trouble is, make one place attractive, and the dig somewhere else. My garden is inside my fenced yard, but we had to add a second fence to keep the dogs out of the garden.

Did you have a garden before? Did some former dog leave a bunch of buried bones? My dog and worse yet her friend that comes to visit like to dig up tree roots.
