Question
One male black and tan american cocker spaniel bred to a chocolate cocker spaniel will produce what color puppies?
I've been searchng various websites re:genes and cannot find the answer.

Answer
Hi Myma sorry i am no expert at what colour the pups will be, my cocker girl who is Blue Roan, was bred with a Lemon Roan Cocker and her five puppies were Black and With white markings which have turned Roan, i have been told that Black is the dominant colour and depending on what the parents of the breeding dogs were in colour also has an input, if you go to Cockers on Line someone on that website will be able to give you more information, just join up and go to the breeding and genetics section im sure they will be able to help.
Sorry i cant be more helpfull, good luck with the pregnancy and rearing the litter.
