Question
My cockapoo puppy is about 9 months old and everytime someone pets her or picks her up she pees. Also, if you call her over, she'll come running, but when she gets almost to you she'll stop and pee. She is housebroken, she rings a bell when she needs to go out (or when she wants to steal the other dogs bone). So is there anything we can do to get her to stop this? is there any prescription medications a vet could give her to make her stop?

Answer
That is called submissive wetting.  There are anti anxiously drugs that would help.  I would rather see you work on building her self confidence.
Having a good pack structure reduces such problems.  The dogs see all the
people and dogs in the household as a pack with each having their own rank in
the pack and a top dog.  Life is much easier if the 2 legged pack members
outrank the 4 legged ones.  You can learn to play the role of top dog by
reading some books or going to a good obedience class. A good obedience class
or book is about you being top dog, not about rewarding standard commands with
a treat. Start at http://www.dogsbestfriend.com/  Keeping the obedience training positive and praising her for her success will make her feel competent and accepted.  It is easier to be confident when you have a strong leader that lets you know what they want and praises you when you do it.

Play tug of war with her, and lose.  In the end, you take the rope or other toy and keep it.  Otherwise, you will undo the lessons on who is top dog.

Avoid towering over her, eye contact,  and showing your teeth.  Stand up straight, look them in the eye and smile works much better with people than dogs.  Don't pet the top of her head.  A butt rub or belly rub is better.
