1yr old cocker, jumping up

thank you for your response, i have a problem with the spray of water as it seems to have no effect on her,she shakes her head abit but that is all, also the biggest problem is the jumping up at people when she meets them. She is so very social, while we are out, around the town etc, she is fine until someone stops to make a fuss of her and she gets so excited she seems not to hear our commands that she would normally take notice of. She is fine with other dogs, she just stops to say hello and then will leave happily. many thanks

Unless I go to the board and try & find it I have no idea how to help.  Perhaps it was awhile ago?

It seems now jumping up is an issue.  Have her on leash...make her sit...give treat...step on her leash and ignore her until she settles down.  When she does - another treat.
