Question
Hello,
We got  two  adorableEnglish cocker spaniel puppies last week. They are 13 weeks old now. They  seem  happy. They  walk  and  run  with  us  for  about  half an  hour, two to  three  times a day. is  this  appropriate exercise for them at this stage? Should we let them go up the two steps into our house on their own or should we help them?
                           Thanks.

Answer
Hi Christine, sorry for the delay my computer is really playing up, not allowing me to email out.
Firstly congratulations on your new additions how lovely having two.

I think the exercise is fine as long as you can say they are not absolutely exhausted when you get back then what they are getting is great, as for your steps if they can manage on their own let them but just stay behind them (in case they struggle) but they should be fine managing steps at their age.

I wish you all the best with your pups and hope they will always be good for you, Cockers are such gorgeous dogs with such fantastic temperments and so much love to give.
All the best
Kathy
