Question
I rescued a 2 year old Crocker 2 weeks ago we i spend the day with her free running in the house  walking her several time a day when i let her out in the fenced yard she starts to dig at the fence trying a escape can you advise"

Answer
She's not trying to escape.  Some dogs are just diggers :).  And it takes several weeks for a Rescue dog to settle in.

Have you figured out what commands she knows?  Is it the type of fence she actually could dig under and get out?  Is it a large or small area?  If it's small, perhaps a permanent solution with some bricks might be the answer.  Is the fence solid or chain link?

Temporarily, of course, I'd never let her out there alone.  First try saying NO and calling her to you.  Praise & reward with a treat.

If you let me know how that goes, I can suggest some other quick approaches to teach her not to do that.

And when you say you walk her several times a day - for how long?  She needs at least an hour of exercise daily.  A lot of problem behavior is due to pent up energy and boredom.
