QuestionI have a 8 month old boxer she is well behave most of the time except when I have to leave her home to go to work. I come home to a compeletly messed up house. We play with her in morning before we leave and she runs outside back and forth barking at the dog next store. I still come home to everything everywhere. What can I do ?
AnswerShe may have a touch of separation anxiety, or she may just be a typical, mischievous Boxer puppy. Crate training is generally the safest option, while you're teaching her to be well-behaved in the house and waiting for her to mature (many people don't start leaving their Boxers out alone until they're 2-3 years old).
Here are a few articles on separation anxiety:

If you can't crate train, you might at least consider confining her to one or two dog-proofed rooms in the house; this not only protects your things, but keeps her safe from chewing on electrical cords, ingesting poisons or toxins, or eating various items that could cause a blockage.
Good luck!
