this is cash i have an 11-week old male boxer and he has had what seems to be something in his throat. he hacks and hacks almost as if he is trying to throw it up but nothing ever comes out.can you tell me what this is and how to help.

It could be any number of things, but a likely candidate is kennel cough. A trip to the vet is appropriate (he'll likely be due for a checkup soon anyway); usually kennel cough is self-limiting and antibiotics are not necessary, but you do want to watch for secondary infections.
