when do boxers first heat happen?

we have a 14 month old boxer that has not gone into heat to our knowledge. at what age do boxers normally go into heat?

Hi Michael,

All female boxers are different, some come into heat the first time between six and twelve months old and others will vary up until 24 months old. I would not worry until after 24 months old, if at that time she hasn't come into heat then have your vet check her out. After the first heat some boxer females will come into heat only once a year and some twice a year. Thank you for your question.
