Question
Hi, Marie!!!!
Ok, I must tell you I have had pets before but I HAVE NEVER loved them as I love Butters. He is 8 months old; very affectionate and good boy. He is extremely cute! I have taught him the normal doggie tricks. The latest is when I tell him to "play baby". He lays on his side and moves his arms. HILARIOUS!!!!! He also plays the keyboard and soccer. He loves bubbles. My little one is quite spoiled but he deserves it.

Now, to my questions: Butters has a spot uner his left arm. We took him to his doctor and he stated sometimes dogs have hot spots. We did the benadryl, etc. I rub some ointment that someone suggested at Petco. It IS better but he scratches like he's crazy!!!!

The second is how do I teach Butters how to take a bow? I am attaching a picture so you can see my little one.

Answer
Hi Carlisa - I did not see the photo of your boy... can you send it again...
???
He sounds very very smart.  As far as the bow...not sure on that - You could go over to our dog experts ( behavior experts) - I know some of them are very UP on tricks.
We have a number under " dog behavior experts"

As for the hot spot...
Many times it can be related to foods and allergies.
What food are you feeding your boy ?  ( brand and flavor)

I can suggest an "oil" and supplement.... also, possible new food, if you want to change.

Most of my clients take - Salmon oil - Pure salmon oil - a small amount mixed into the food 1 x per day.  You can find salmon oil at most pet stores.

Also, many of my clients take NuVET - Excellent and Guaranteed to get rid of hot spots and skin problems.
here is the link to my nuvet site and my doggie hotel...
