my cats behavior

Hi, I have a cat that is one year old he is fixed and he has never had problems using the litter box until now. he has been pooping and peeing all over the house. He is not acting like himself either. We just dont have the money to take him to the vet right now because we just spent about $500.00 on vet bills not to long ago. Just on ear mite stuff and they had upper respretory infections.

Have their been any changes in your home? New animals or people? Have you left him for a couple days?

A lot of times they start doing that when they are upset at you for some reason.
