Keep off the counter!!!!!

Question
I need just a little advice. I am having a
problem with kitty. She insists on jumping on the kitchen counter, and I
absolutely DETEST that. I prepare my food up there, and I get really upset
with the cat when she goes up there because I think its unsanitary. I don't
know what to do. I give her a stern "NO!" when she is up there. Do you think

its because she is young?

The best thing to do is to very firmly yell no!!! and give her a small tap with a news paper or your hand, if that does not work use a windex bottle empty the windex and wash it well and add water with a few dorps of lemon.So when she goes up on the counter give her a spray.THANKS!!!!
