Hello. I've read that cats are imported into the West Indies and the Caribbean from Britian and NOrthern Ireland. Since the Abyssinian and the Somali are found in Britain, and I'm assuming Northern Ireland, is it fair to assume that these two cat breeds are imported to Jamaica, the West Indies, And the Caribbean? Please let me know. Thank you.

Answer
Jason,

As I have answered this before, I will, once again.

All breeds known in North America are also known in The United Kingdom and vice versa.

Thus it it safe to assume representatives of all breeds have made there way to the West Indies either from the United Kingdom or the United States or both!

Best regards... Norm.
