my cat wants to fly the coop

My indoor cat keeps getting out. I've had cats all my life and have dealt with this before, but never as bad as this.  She is a fixed female.  She's always been kind of a naughty cat, but very lovable!  It is 10:15 a.m. and she has already been out twice today!  She gets into the bushes and it is very difficult to get her out.  I coaxed her out with tuna today, but I just can't keep doing this!  It makes the kids late for school and me late for work!  This is driving me crazy!!!

I have two guys who do the same. This is a tough one. The only thing that I know that works is to guard the door. If you see her near the door spray her with water. It's an aversion therapy you have to do to her. And when you come in or out make sure she is nowhere near the door. I know it's not much but it is about the only thing you can do unless you lock her up in another section of the house when going in or out. Good luck.
