QuestionYes i have 1 1/2 week old kitten that i swear the other day had both of her/his eyes open. But now only one eye is open and the other one seems like it is sealed shut. is that something to worry about?
AnswerA kittens eyes should be opening by about 8 days of age so it is right on target but if the condition remains the same see a vet because it could be a sign of an eye infection that needs treatment. I adopted a young kitten once and someone else adopted his brother. they both had eye infections. i got ours treated right away and he recovered. The other was not treated early enough and eventually lost the eye. Be cautious with this please.
