Food-Protein cereal

Hi Teresa,
My kitten is 4 months old, her name is Harlie and what I want to know is will protein cereal hurt her in anyway?

Hi Judy, thanks for your question. Is the protein cereal something made for cats or humans? If it is "people food" it will not hurt her in any way. Everything in moderation is the way to live life ! If she has a bit as a snack even once a day that is just fine as long as the main part of her diet is a well balanced cat food. Snacks should generally be less than 15% of her daily food intake.
If this is something made for cats I am not familiar with it so I would not be able to help you. Generally most cat food is considered 100% balanced for a full time diet for your cat/kitten so look for that being mentioned on the label.
