stopped eating

hello, my cat is about 1 year and 6 months old and a very big kitty. for the last year he has been loving canned food especally fish. but all of a sudden he refuses to touch it. will only eat dry bits and wont eat in the afternoon. he's starting to loose weight. how thin is two thin, i don't really know whats going on can you help? he seems happy playfull like he always is.

Loss of appetite is a very serious sign in cats. Your kitty is sick and needs to see a vet as soon as possible or his illness could get out of control to the point that it can't be treated.
