Feeding a New Mama Cat

My young cat had a litter of 4 kittens 5 days ago.  She's very tiny herself and I'm not sure if I should be giving her special food while she's nursing.  Can you advise?

Feed her about double what you would normally feed her.  I would find bone meal powder (search the Internet) and supplement her diet with that for added calcium. If you are giving her wet food, the bone meal powder can be mixed right in with the wet food. You can also add a good vitamin supplement (I like Kitty Bloom), but you can see what your local pet supermarket has.
