Hi Peggy,

You can use a cat intro protocol, or if she is very young just bring her into the house. How do you know she is 1 week old? That young the kittens eyes wouldn't even be open. If she is that young then I wouldn't worry about introducing her. Just keeping her alive and growing will take your time. The older girl will be curious at first. She might hiss but so long as she doesn't attack all will be well. I am attaching some links for further info on raising the little one. Good luck.
