Mouth sores

Question
I had my cat treated for sores in his mouth. He was given antibiotics and steroids. He still has painful sores. He had some teeth removed already and still the pain continues. What should we do? Can I administer more antibiotic to see if it will help? I have a prescription for my own gum and mouth infection. Can we give some of this medicine to our cat. My name is going broke. Please help.

I am not a vet, but have been through this with a couple of my cats.  I will not give veterinary advice on this forum as it would be inappropriate to do so.  What I would suggest is to follow up up this message with a private message giving me your e-mail address and we can take this private.
