Answer
Apologies. I thought I had already answered this question.

Most likely these are roundworms. If so, there are a number of over-the-counter remedies for them. You may be able to find them at Petsmart.com or order from a place such as Drs. Foster and Smith (www.drsfostersmith.com) or www.revivalanimal.com. Be very careful that the product you use is labeled for use in cats (most of the wormers out there are for dogs) and that it is safe for kittens as well. You shouldn't try to worm a kitten that is under 6 weeks old. If it isn't clear from the package description that a product will be OK for your kitten, then call the company and ask. Revival, in particular, has very knowledgeable and friendly phone help.

I do want to caution you, though, that it is always best to see a vet for something like this. I can't possibly make an accurate diagnosis; even if I saw the kitten, I wouldn't be able to tell you for sure that they are roundworms. They might be another kind, such as hookworms. Vets generally have broad-spectrum wormers that will take care of pretty much any type of worm and furthermore, are safer than things you can buy over the counter. I have heard of people worming their cats with such things and the cats had bad reactions.
So, the choice is really up to you. Personally, although I give my kittens two of the three sets of shots they should have, I always make sure that they get the third shot AND worming meds from a vet.

Hope this helps
