weeing & spraying

my 7yr old cat is weeing and spraying everywhere he has been nuetered,and he has 3 litter trays to use. I have sprayed pet behaviour spray but it dosent bother him, im at my wits end with him as my house is starting to smell any answers please.ps when he was nueterd the vets told me he was both male and female but more male than female

This type of behavior seems to go along with urinary tract infections. I would have your 7 year old checked by your vet to see if there is a bladder or urethra infection. These often result in inappropriate peeing.

Also watch the water consumption. A major increase in water consumption often heralds kidney issues no matter what the blood work would show. In addition, I would use distilled water since it has a neutral pH level and is devoid of most minerals.

Please let me know what your vet says.
