Need help with orphaned Kitty!

Hello,

Last week I got a rescue kitten, her family was killed by a rottweiler and she was the only survivor. The kitten is now 5 weeks old. She has gone to the vet, and is very healthy. She's a calico, which they said usually comes with attitude. But my fear is that she will grow up to be a nasty cat. I've been trying to be affectionate, and teach her by using toys when she bites, by taping her nose and saying No sternly. And I've even tried the time out method where I put her in her play pen until shes more relaxed. Many say that when you bottle feed a kitten (which I've had to do with this kitten) that they believe you to be the mother. So, I want to make sure I train her right. My friend has a rescue cat that was orphaned and he has grown to be a very aggressive nasty cat...please help. I don't want a nasty kitten on my hands. She's a very good kitten when she isn't hurting people.

At 5 weeks old it is the perfect time to help this kitten turn into a lovely cat as this is part of what is known as the sensitive period.
