Israeli Cats

Dear Dr. Wigley,
There are Scottish Folds, British Shorthairs, Russian Blues, Maine Coons, American Curls, Persians, Siamese, and Japanese Bobtails- but are there any indigenous Israeli cat breeds?

The cat itself is primarily a semi arid cat and when one looks at the environment in the middle east it is not really conducive to felines
There is the Egyptian Mau but as far as I know there is no cat positively related to Israel
