Question
Hi..
I have an outdoor cat that got breeding 2.5 years in my home, i decided to give the new kittens for adoption since i have now 7 cats in my home.
what is the best age for the kittens and the mother to take her babies from her. should i wait till they get 4 months or before.
and when i will take them from here should i take them one by one or all of them in the same time

thanks

Answer
Hi Rawd
You could arrange for the kittens to be adopted at 3 months of age, but do make sure they have had all their shots from the vet.
Also I would personally recommend you re home them all at once however there could be the situation where new homes are not available for all of them at the same time so it may be prudent to stagger their departure. When they do go make sure mum gets plenty of attention for the first few days.
