Puppy overeating

Early this morning my dog got into the cabinet we keep her food in. She a 4 month old lab and loves to eat. She got into her food and ate mostly all of it. Her stomach is bulging and it feels really hard. I wanted to know if this could hurt her and what i should do to help. Thanks

Hi Lindsey,

most likely your dog will vomit if she eats too much food, but you are also want to be sure she does not have a bloated stomach with a torsion (stomach twists)

Asess her personality- is she painful?
is she playful?
is she lethargic?
etc...

if she is obviously not looking and feeling- go see a vet this morning.
