Demodex

Question
My 1.5 year old yorkie, Guppy, has been having problems with Demodex mites for about 6 months now. He first broke out after we boarded him for a weekend. I've had him to 3 different vets including a veterinarian dermotologist, but he just never clears up. He's recently been on Ivermectin and when the maximum dosage still didn't clear up the mites, they started hinting at daily Interceptor doses. I'm really tired of him being scraped every month as I know that's got to be painful. I'm trying to treat him now with diet, but although it seems there is some improvement, he's still got the scabs between his shoulders and along the tips of his ears...these seem to be the only areas he breaks out. I've switched him to Orijen 6 fish and mix it with Mulligan Stew. I've cut out all grains and mix Colostrum into his food. Even his treats are all non-grain or carrots, which he loves. Any help at all would be greatly appreciated.

Answer
Oh, Poor little Guppy!  yes, I have a few ideas to help.

About the mites:

Demodex mites feed on systemic yeast in the body, and the systemic yeast feed on the dietary yeast and/or sugar in the system (blood sugar). As you will see, my method of dealing with demodex is to starve the mite by taking away it's food source, which is the yeast. Without this food source, the demodex will easily die off without dipping or insecticides of any kind. Don't do the Dips...

The mites take advantage of an immature or lowered immune system which is why the very young get it, and sometimes the very old or ill. A dog's immune system is not fully mature until at least one year, sometimes longer.

( the above info was a quote from " C. Donnelly "( pet nutritionist)

Here is my plan for your baby:
This is a Must - yeast Fungal Detox

YEAST/FUNGAL DETOX (90) ***( BETTER than the Colostrum)

1/2 to one  per day... Excellent to get the yeast undercontrol - So the MITES have nothing to eat!

Please understand that the body can be helped to fight demodex off on it's own (through diet and supplementation),

The next step would be this product:

NuVET Plus - Keeping the immune system strong is the KEY- Or Building the kids immune system... Learn here about NuVET Plus-
Please use my order code 81098 / they can't sell to the public without this:

Grain FREE diet -  ( Innova Evo or Wellness Core dog foods)
(The food you are feeding now is very good:  Orijen 6)

**** grainless diet (ESPECIALLY NO WHEAT OR NUTRITIONAL YEAST OF ANY KIND) with only meat, bones and low glycemic fruits and veggies (green leafy, not root veggies), or in other words, only foods that do not readily raise your pet's blood sugar.
You must keep your dog's blood free of yeast.
