Question
I found a kitten on the side of the road and she has a stuffy nose. She seems to be fine otherwise, but I didnt know if she just had a cold or what. And if it is just a cold, what should I do about it?

Answer
Cats get viruses that act like colds but are not colds. Some of these are from having a weak immune system from exposure or having feline leukemia.
Before you invest your heart and time into this little girl, get her tested at the vets for FELV, FIV, FIP and then if she is clean get her vaccinated and wormed.

There is nothing worse than falling in love with a kitten that has a fatal disease. So please Arenel, get her to the vet and tested SOON!!
You cannot treat her at home for an upper respiratory infection because of the nature of them being viral.

Call the vet in the morning and get her in to be tested.

I hope she is virus free and that this will pass with some antibitoics and TLC.
Let me know how she does.
