I have a 7 year old lab, who has stopped eating today and now is vomiting clear and brown gue. When i served him food he did not eat it, so i gave him some meat he would not touch it and then he started vomiting. the drank some water He seems down and sad. i feed him Purina dog chow i give him about 2 cups in the morning and two in the evening but he did not eat. his stomach growls so i know he is hungry. i also have another lab (2years old, girl spayed) and a Chihuahua (boy 9 years old) but they are fine (they are eating, and no change in mood or character).

Answer
A growling stomach doesn't mean that your dog is hungry- it means his gut and digestive tract is upset.

Dogs eat a lot of stuff they shouldn't and eating things they are not use to will make them sick. Dogs can get pancreatitis, gastritis and other digestive upsets that sometimes require a visit to the vets because they can become very serious and even fatal.

Don't feed him any meat, and if he continues to vomit and not eat through today and especially if he isn't drinking water, then he needs to see the vet right away.

I have no idea if this dog is current on his vaccinations, but he could be prone to parvo if he isn't.
You might also want to feed a better food to your dogs. Purina is not a good diet and their food is not consistent in quality or ingredients from batch to batch and that alone can make a dog sick.

So once he is well consider getting them on a good food like Science Diet. You will also save money as you wouldn't need to feed as much food to give him the proper nutrition.
