Question
My cat is 7 years old and spayed. shes been vomiting, not eating or drinking as well very uncoordinated. During vomiting she has lost her balance and started to choke, which caused her to tumble onto her side. Breathing very fast and lack of energy. I had recently made a trip to our local vet (the only one in town), there response was " you cat seems fine i see no signs of anything" now after returning home all these issues have occurred yet again within one hour of our return home. Please help! Is there anything I can do for her myself? What could this be?

Answer
Is there something new at home that she is reacting badly to? A new rug, plant? If she is eating plants in your house she could be eating a toxic one.

Sometimes cats do retch so hard it will knock them over, but that is not common. The not eating and drinking here is a bigger issue. Cats that don't eat are prone to getting a fatty liver, which is very serious.

Check the house first for offending things, (even new kitty litter) and if nothing is found, get her back to the vet and ask for a blood panel be run on her for kidney and liver function as well as a CBC. Don't let the vet push you around either.

Tell him what is going on and that "your cat is fine" doesn't cut it when she isn't.
Her lack of appetite should have alerted him right off.

I hope you find an answer and please let me know when you do.
