Question
Hello I started a 15 gallon Saltwater tank and I add my first fish, a yellow tail damsel. It seemed very scared and was flat against the wall at the very top of the tank. I let the bag float in  the water for 30 minutes and added stress coat to the the tank.

Answer
Hi Ben,

Doublecheck the salinity readings and be certain that the filtration is sufficient.  Oxygen is very important to fish, and the salinity should be correct so the fish has an easy time breathing.

Check the heat of the tank.  It should be 76 to 80.

Keep an eye on your fish and watch it to make sure it is breathing correctly, but sometimes they are just stressed out from the move.

I truly hope this helps and congratulations on the new fish and aquarium.
