My angel fish is breathing rapidly

My angel fish is breathing rapidly and staying in a vertical position at the surface of the tank, sometimes sticking its mouth out of the water, any advice?

Hello,

Sounds like a water quality problem. You should check your nitrites and ammonia. If either are high you should immediately change 25% of your water and add a dose of a cycling product, such as Cycle. Continue to monitor the water over the next few days and make sure the levels are going down. You may need to do a couple more water changes.
